    Coming from Pasadena / Altadena / Arcadia
    Take the 134 Freeway West. Exit at San Fernando Road. Turn left on San Fernando Road. Go south one mile. Moonlight Rollerway is on the corner of Harvard Street and San Fernando Road, right next to Home Depot.

  2. Just wanted to make my comment. I love your station and it would be the only one I would listen to as there isn’t much out there but the receiption is so bad still. I live at port union and lawrence and I can’t pick it up clear especially when I go on my walks and I want to listen on my radio. Also I work at 76 Adelaide(Adelaide and Bay) and the receiption is bad as well…do you know when this will be addressed???

    30 Years in the making, Roller Skating Reunion. Saturday October 1, 2011.
    Roller Skating Reunion.
    All former and current roller skaters in the Hamilton area.
    Roller World, Roundabout, Thunderbird, Saints, Roller Gardens.

    The venue for our Roller Skating Reunion is the outdoor rink at the Discovery center in Hamilton. On the Harbourfront by Williams Pub. 47 Discovery Drive Hamilton, Ontario.

    Event will start at the Outdoor rink from 12:00noon until 2:00AM.
    We have a licensed bar in the Discovery center as an indoor venue with patio on the waterfront.
    We are going to have some old school funk playing by the outdoor rink and people can get together with old friend on a roll or on a chair rink side. Bring your family and plan your picnic on the waterfront.
    The restaurant at the Williams Pub will be open and there will also be a snack bar open rink side.

    It’s been about 5 years since I did the research on the Mimicombo so forgive me if I forget the article I read. From what I read (old newspaper articles from the Toronto reference library), the building had suffered a fire and was torn down instead of being repaired. If you lived in the area or skated there give me a bit more detail and I’ll update the post.
