Charlie Sheen rants and raves about having Tiger blood, and his allusion to the wild cat could not be more prophetic. Like a Tiger Charlie is the king of his domain in Hollywood. As the highest paid television actor he has tamed the jungles of Hollywood and slain all comers. He has done what so many actors only dream of doing and he has done it with ease. He is feared in the jungles of Hollywood. Other actors know they stand little chance against him and his audience knows he has the world in the palm of his hands.

However like the Tiger, Charlie knows that he has already been caged. All his money, all his fame, all his weath, still leave him powerless. Powerless to hold on to his young sons and powerless to hold on to his television role. Charlie is that Tiger on display at the zoo; we fear it, but we know it is powerless to hurt us. For all it’s power and might it cannot free itself and live out it’s life the way it wants to.

Charlie is roaring like a Tiger right now. He roars on talk shows and on Twitter, but we know he is caged. He is powerful, but he is not free and he knows he is endangered. He knows the way he is living is unsustainable. Charlie Sheen does have Tiger’s blood. But someone should remind Charlie that he is still in his cage.
